Awards

Our region recognizes members who truly exemplify ACUI. Please consider nominating an individual for the awards listed below. All nomination letters should be submitted to Laura Ballou by Oct. 17.

  • The Edgar A. Whiting Award is awarded to an outstanding member of Region 2 who has consistently performed “above and beyond the call of duty.”
  • The Audrey Hozack New Professional Award is awarded to an outstanding new professional who has demonstrated support to the region by involvement in the educational councils, leadership team, or by hosting regional events or tournaments.
  • The Duncan MacLellan Outstanding Student Award is awarded to an outstanding student member of Region 2 who has demonstrated the Role of the College Union through their undergraduate or graduate work and commitment to the Region.

The criteria for each award can be found on the regional website. These awards will be presented during our conference banquet on Saturday evening.
