The 2008 Region 2 Northeast Poetry Slam Spectacular held on the campus of  SUNY Brockport  prove to be an exciting event.  Three teams of very accomplished poets battled off for the title of Slam Champions for 2008.

 

 The teams comprised of State University of NY at Oneonta, State University of NY at New Paltz, and Niagara University.  Claiming the Glory this year,  Oneonta displays the Poetry cup on their campus until next we meet.  Can they defend their title, or will title and cup be lost to yet another awesome slam team.  Stay tuned to our website for Slam schedules and upcoming conferences.
